World of Dance 2012 Industry Awards Recap

The 2^nd Annual World of Dance Industry Awards took place at the ICON Ultra Lounge in LA February 19, 2012. This star studded event was filled with your favorite dancers who were recognized for their contributions to the dance community. Complete with a red carpet and stage, dancers and their fans flooded the scene including I. Am. Me. and Mos Wanted Crew. The night started off with Paul Mitchell offering complimentary hair and makeup as well as Body Armor giving away their delicious products. The air was filled with excitement as appearances from Poreotics, Kyle Hanagami, BGirl Bonita, and many more were made. Dance celebs walked the red carpet and were bombarded with photographers. TK Nguyen kicked off the ceremony with the announcements of the winners for each category. Soon after came live performances from Chi Town’s Finest Breakers, Mix’d Elements, Bullies, and Breed. During the performances, dance legends Elm Pizarro, Cros 1, Nappytabs, and Napolean and Tabitha Dumo received their awards for their inductions in the World of Dance Hall of Fame.  The DJ then kicked off the after party with bumping music and the crazy atmosphere that lasted till 2 in the morning.
