The event featured over 40 groups competing in Adult, Varsity, and Junior Varsity sections, including many notable contenders such as Academy of Villains, Soul Fresh, and the Bullies. A variety of battles happened periodically on stage, as well as a lively cypher session offstage. The judges panel was loaded with respected dancers, including Devon Marlink, Mike Song, Beau Fournier, and Charles Nguyen, who also got in on the cypher action with a few other members of Poreotics.
