Electronic upstart Danny Avila continues his early assault on 2013 as the 17-year-old sensation reveals news of his first official remix, Skylar Grey’s ‘C’mon Let Me Ride – Mikael Weermets & Danny Avila’s Trapset Remix’, coming February 5th on Interscope Records.
The young Spaniard takes on remix duties with Swedish tour de force Weermets, together unleashing a dynamic new ‘Trapstep’ take on proceedings that is jam packed to the hilt with unbridled energy. Combining production elements from dubstep and trap, the edit features thundering basslines, huge, shuddering drops, and infectious, rolling melodies that allow Grey’s intoxicating vocals to freewheel deliciously on top. Coming off the back of the original 2012 mix, that featured the infamous spitting talents of none other than Eminem, this explosive 2013 cut is certain to prove an instant hit with fans on both sides of the Atlantic, and will only further cement both Avila and Weermets as emerging leaders of the New Production Pack.
